ISTA Level 1

~Spiritual, Sexual, Shamanic Experience~

with Rex Mc Cann, Kamala Devi & Dawn Cheri<

International School of Temple Arts (ISTA) is a non-profit educational organization committed to raising consciousness & sexuality education, providing trainings to individuals, practitioners and teachers, and supporting the emergence of the Temple Arts around the world.

A training for life and love

Spiritual…Sexual….Shamanic …each of these three areas alone carry enormous charge for shadow and misuse of power as well as potential for liberation, freedom, love and joy. Together, integrated, we begin to see what it means to be awake, empowered, in community and in service as love in the world.

This powerful 7 day training is a training for life and love and is for EVERYONE, practitioners, would-be practitioners and anyone who desires to take their personal empowerment to another level and to deepen their abilities of Self Mastery. Activities include hands on practice and coaching around the use and implementation of 7 incredible tools including emotional release, aspecting, voice dialogue, neurological reprogramming, exploration into ethics and boundaries and introduction of rituals of initiation.

This week provides the essential teachings and experiences that restore to us the type of education we should have had around our sexuality, our emotions and our relationships with the masculine and feminine. This provides for the experience of being truly alive and integrated.

Who is the retreat for?

This training is aimed at men and women who are dedicated to the ongoing practice of evolving consciousness and deeper embodiment and who support others on this path. Central to this are presence, awareness, personal empowerment, emotional intelligence, sexual wholeness, and a lifestyle which honors the interconnectedness of all things. Acknowledging and embracing ones shadow (or un-integrated psychological material) is the cornerstone of this work.

Some people take this training for their own personal enrichment while others are interested in the profession of Sacred Sexual Practitioner or Educator. Join with other motivated individuals from a diverse background of experiences, including computer techs, massage therapists, counsellors, artists, healers, entrepreneurs, and students, to create an intensely-satisfying learning journey, that will significantly impact your personal life and professional style.

Live your truth

This revolutionary Life empowerment course supports us to masterfully direct our primal and sexual nature so that we more deeply embody a fully integrated, respectful and vibrant relationship with ourselves and others. Attendees include those from the various spiritual/sexual paths of celibacy, monogamy, and polyamory. The entire course is designed to support all individuals to find, feel, claim, and express their highest Life expression. If it is your truth, It is possible to complete the entire training/experience without touching another person. How do we fully take back our power as well as support others to live free? The ISTA facilitators are looking forward to meeting you in Love, Power, and Freedom.

The venue is here at Ängsbacka – a world famous center for consciousness and love in the Swedish countryside. Surrounded by deep forests, by a clean lake you are comfortably accomodated and served delicious vegan food during the event.

Rex Mc Cann

A native New Zealander with a global heart, Rex McCann has been leading transformational programmes with men and women for 25 years. Founder of Essentially Men, www.essentiallymen.net the ground breaking mens work of Aotearoa New Zealand, co-founder of the Heart Politics Gatherings and author of Fatherless Sons (Harper Collins) and On Their Own (Finch) he is trained in group work, psychodrama, expressive therapies, co counselling and has a masters in Social Ecology. His experience has been honed from working extensively with groups in all kinds of settings from the wilderness to corporations, prisons to ashrams, and anywhere in the community people are showing up for wisdom. Over his life he has explored diverse mystery traditions, shamanistic practices and spiritual enquiry. His outer world expressions have been diverse – from a young hunter living in the wilderness, to activism, street theatre, trainer, community catalyst and group leadership. He has a solid reputation for leading potent rites of passage and known for his wise and playful style and ability to hold people with love while they shed their skin.

Rex has stopped trying to improve himself…instead he has turned to loving the life force that is living him, which includes embodying the joy and transformative power of sexuality. He has moved into teaching with ISTA because his delight is to share community with kindred souls on this journey of loving life and he is drawn to contribute to the powerful transmission and embodied teachings that are evolving here.

Kamala Devi

KamalaDevi is a mystic, a mentor and a muse. Her mission is to awaken herself and others to the ecstatic current that runs between heaven and earth. She works with artists, healers, and visionaries around the world to become love leaders. When she’s not traveling the world to facilitate retreats for the International School of Temple Arts, she enjoys a rich home life by the beach in San Diego with her husband of over 15 years and their 10 year old son.

She is author of a handful of books including Sacred Sexual Healing: the Shaman Method of Sex Magic with Baba Dez Nichols. Her family stars in Showtime’s hit docu-series, Polyamory: Married & Dating. She also appeared on Dr. Drew, Ricki Lake, Tyra Banks and the award-winning documentary Sex Magic. KamalaDevi is also founder of Poly-Palooza and San Diego Tantra Theater.  More at http://www.KamalaDevi.com

Personal Note: I prefer being called “KamalaDevi” or if that’s too much of a mouthful, you can call me KD. I take pleasure in nature, dance, vegan foods, snuggling and performance art. My ultimate turn-on is penetrating conversation. My body is not just a temple, but integrated expression of my soul. I use my words and sound to stimulate and heal people. I’m also a deep listener, and love silence, touch and laughter. I look forward to our next deep dive together!
