The Sacred Human
with Kavina Thorslund
Who are you in these changing and somewhat challenging times? What are you here to live, give and learn? How can you support yourself to live a nourished and fulfilled life, and be part of the solution at this time? What is truly important to you?
The hearts true longing
This is a weekend with the purpose of fueling our true intention in life. We will explore what is truly of importance in our lives and how we can support ourselves to live more of that. When we are living connected to our hearts true longing for this lifetime, we can stand more stable on the ground when things get shaky in our inner or outer lives. Then we can meet ourselves and others with deeper compassion, connected with life in this present moment, opening to a sense of direction instead of being tossed around by life and all our emotions.
What we will do
There will be active and still meditations, inquiries, dance, nature ceremony and exercises with each other to support this process. You will have a chance to rest deeper into yourself, embraced by the beautiful nature around Ängsbacka and nourish that inner still wise part of you that only needs a bit of time and space to come to the surface. When we give us some space to still the chattering mind and find the right questions, the right answers will start surfacing on their own.
Welcome to a weekend intensive for YOU, the Sacred Human walking on our precious Earth at these truly interesting times. We were made for these times.
“…In my uttermost bones I know something, as do you. It is that there can be no despair when you remember why you came to Earth, who you serve, and who sent you here. The good words we say and the good deeds we do are not ours. They are the words and deeds of the One who brought us here…”
Dr Clarissa Pinkola Estes, american poet, post trauma specialist and Jungian psychoanalyst author.

Warmly welcome to The Sacred Human at Ängsbacka in April!
Kavina is working as a coach and teacher in Zen Coaching in Sweden, Poland and the Netherlands, teacher of mindfulness and offers deep healing massage.
She has always been curious to explore what it is to be a human, how we function, what is the purpose of life and all those bigger questions. This burning interest, combined with the inner struggles as a young adult with eating disorders, has led to studies in psychology and history of religion at University and training as coach and therapist. Eventually this search also led to meetings with spiritual teachers of various traditions. Her background includes over 20 years of meditation and inner work, much influenced by the mystic Osho.
Her way into meditation has been through the body, as she is devoted to embodied awareness and loves the presence that the body holds. She has worked as a body worker since the late 90’s, has done countless hours on the dance floor with the 5 Rhythms, Authentic Movement and other dance events.
Currently she runs her own business ‘Relaxed Being’ and is also studying shamanism as an apprentice on the Sweet Medicine Sundance Path. Her intention now is to integrate the coaching work with the shamanic path and The Sacred Human is the first event of this kind.
